The refrigerated ship PONTOS was built in 1935 on the Bremen volcano for the African Frucht Compagnie AG. The ship was used in the banana voyage between Cameroon and Europe. In 1940 the PONTOS was taken over by the Navy, first as an auxiliary ship and from 1942 as a torpedo clearing ship for the torpedo test command. Delivered to Elders & Fyffes as British spoils after the war. New name EMPIRE MOWDDACH. 1947 sold as NICOYA:
If you do not like an article, it is possible to return the goods within 14 days of receipt of the shipment without giving a reason. We assume that the goods are unused, undamaged and in their original packaging. You will receive a credit note from us for the value of the goods. The goods must be sent back to our address in the cheapest way, securely packaged and with sufficient postage. If the value of the goods is over 40 € and the sender is German, we will take care of the postage. The goods may not be sent postage paid. We reserve the right to deduct the costs for freight collect shipments from the credit.
Payment is made in EUR by bank transfer, postal order or, within Germany, by cash on delivery. Shipping costs shall be borne by the Purchaser.
