  • The express freight steamer DEUTSCHLAND V was built in 1912 at the H. Pauksch shipyard in Landsberg an der Warthe for Deutschland-Schnelldampfer GmbH, Berlin-Hamburg. It was later taken over by the North German and United Elbe Shipping Company. The steamer was in operation in this form until 1951, then was motorized and remained in service under various names until around 1976.
