The MÖLDERS and sister vessels LÜTJENS and ROMMEL are a part of 32 destroyers. 26 have been built for US NAvy and are known as Charles F. Adams class. With some modifications 3 vessels have been built for the Australian Navy and Bundesmarine each. These 3 destroyers are part of 1. Destroyer squadron of the German Navy. Home port is Kiel. These destroyer will get out of service and replaced by new frigates.
