Fishing vessel GLÜCKSTADT und ELBE have been built 1911 at the yard J. L. Meyer in Papenburg. GLÜCKSTADT get No. S.G. 22 and ELBE No. S.G. 23. Both vessels served for Gl?ckst?dter Heringsfischerei. 1917 both vessels have been chartered by German Imperial Navy and served as an auxiliary vessel. Gl?ckstadt has been lost by a hit of a mine near island of Oesel in the Baltic Sea. After World War I ELBE returned to the previous owner. 1931 the owner sold the ELBE to owners in Emden.
