Buoy tender BUSSARD has been built 1906 by Werft J.L. Meyer in Papenburg. The ship began service for Tonnenhof in Sonderburg. 1922 the buoy tender changed home port to Kiel. Until 1979 the steamer stay in service for German administration. For Visitors of the Kieler Woche this steamer is wellknown as start- and end vessel for yachtraces. Now the buoy tender may be vistied as a museum in Kiel harbour.
